The German Saturday School Islington teaches children and young people, who speak German at home, in 13 classes, from reception age children to GCSE and A-level preparation. Our classes are for bilingual and multilingual children and young people with German as one of their home languages. We do not teach German as a foreign language to children and young people. Non-German speaking parents can join our adult classes to learn German.
In the younger classes there is a strong emphasis on play. Reading, writing and grammar are introduced gradually and eventually the children are ready and equipped to take GCSE and A-level exams. Classes take place Saturdays during term time 10.15 - 12.15 at Drayton Park Primary School N5 1PJ.
Please contact us if you would like to register your child and join our waiting list. Our waiting list is currently very full. We enrol children the school year they turn 5 at the earliest. It can be several years bevor we can offer you a space, but places can of course become available at short notice as families move away.
